Congestive Heart Failure Admission Rate, 2007

Data notes
Rates for counties with less than 30 cases are not displayed.

Congestive Heart Failure is chronic progressive condition in which the heart cannot pump enough blood to the rest of the body. Although some hospitalizations are appropriate, causes for avoidable admissions may include poor quality care, lack of patient compliance, and problems accessing care. Proper outpatient treatment may reduce hospital admissions for congestive heart failure.
